Flying Mansion

The A380, the largest passenger plane recently made it’s maiden voyage. Compared to the A380 the Boeing 747 is a shrimp. Now two European companies, Germany’s Lufthansa Technik and Switzerland’s Jet Aviation plan to turn the A380 into an executive jet. Complete with private bedrooms, a movie theater, and a gym. Top speed 652 mph, cruising speed 630 mph.

Hulu vs. YouTube

NBC and Fox are making a website that they hope will rival YouTube.com.
The site is advertisement supported and is for movies from network TV shows.  On Monday a test site was created.  The site is hulu.com and it is not blocked in school.

MySpace Games

MySpace is working with Oberon Media (a casual gaming site) to make a new channel on MySpace.  The channel would be called MySpace Games.  MySpace Games would allow users to post games onto their profiles.  Also a chat service would be setup in the games.  Allowing people to talk while playing together.

Sony is releasing a 40GB PS3 that will sell for $399.  When Sony cut the price of the 80GB PS3 to $499 that made the 60GB PS3 useless beacsue they were selling for the same price.  The 40GB PS3 will appear on U.S. shelves on November 2nd.

XBOX 360 Price-Cut in Japan

The price of an XBOX 360 is dropping in Japan. The 360 is dropping from $348 to $302.

Tony Hawk vs. Skate

EA’s Skate is offering serious competition to Activision’s Tony Hawk Pro Skater games.  Tony Hawk offers a fast pace more arcade style game with unrealistic physics.  Skate is a bit more simulated action and focuses on realistic players, boards, tricks, and physics.  Here is the full story.
